Walking from Port Isaac to Padstow, May 16

Blue sky as we leave Port Isaac for Padstow, an 11 mile day. As you can see, pretty spectacular scenery. Windy, of course. Sad and silly that we have finally hit our stride and we're almost done with our walk.

London will be a rude awakening after such isolation and natural beauty.
Cornwall has a wilder beauty than other parts of England - less population and harsher weather make it more Wales/Scotland-like (in a good way.)

We came upon this lunatic bunch running into the freezing waters of a bay. They called out to us that one of their group was getting married this weekend and they were having a celebration of sorts. A very happy (and Englandy paste-y white) crowd. Lots of laughing and hollering and whooping it up.

Another stunning view
